The Flow Launch Panel is now available on all modern SharePoint lists and libraries. In this post, we’ll walk you through an example of how to create and customize a flow that uses the launch panel’s capabilities using the For a selected item trigger. We’ll also demonstrate how you can enable other members of your organization to run this flow using run-only permissions.

Read and write Managed Metadata in SharePoint lists, append to arrays, and a new connector

Starting this week you can now read data from, and write into, columns in SharePoint that use the Managed Metadata (aka. Taxonomy) type. You can now add items to the end of arrays using a new Append to array variable action. There is also a new connector for Tago, and we released a new version of the Flow app for iPhone X.

Triggers for Microsoft Planner, actions for SharePoint attachments, and other connector improvements

This week we are announcing that another top request from the community is now available: triggers for the Microsoft Planner connector. A second highly requested feature available this week is to work with Attachments in SharePoint lists. There is a new Flow management connector that can be used to automate the creation and management of flows. We also have four other new connectors: Enadoc, Custom Vision, the D&B Optimizer, and SIGNL4 (Derdack) and new functions in other connectors.

Microsoft Flow audit events now available in Office 365 Security & Compliance Center

Today we are announcing that that Microsoft Flow events are discoverable within the Office 365 Security & Compliance Center for all Office 365 tenants in production. This means administrators can now understand how Microsoft Flow is being used within their organization. For example, which users are creating flows? Are flows being shared? What connectors are being used? And more!

Work with multi-level arrays with nested Apply to each and other updates

This week we are announcing that you can have Apply to each steps inside of other Apply to each steps. This means if you have a list of items, where each item contains another list, you can now work those items inside of a flow. Additionally, we have a set of new actions to work with Dates and Times, such as getting local time and getting the current time. Finally, there are four new connectors: Content Moderator, Docparser, Microsoft Kaizala and Pitney Bowes Data Validation, as well as some improvements to the connection experience.

New option to require All approvers to sign off, and more connector actions

This week we are announcing a new feature for Approvals: you can choose whether or not an approval request sent to more than one person will need only one approval, or, if it requires everyone who received the request to approve it. We also have some connector improvements: a new Apache Impala connector, new operations in OneDrive, such as generating PDF's, and more. Finally, you can now give your flows descriptions, which is useful if you are sharing them inside of your organization and you want your co-workers to get a few more details about the flow before they run or edit it.
